Food Bank for NYC
Soapbox works with Clean The World to donate bar soaps to Food Bank for NYC. These bar soaps are made from hotel bar soaps that have been remade into larger bars. These are given out to clients of the food bank. SNAP funds, the national food assistance program, are not able to be used for non-food items such as soap and personal hygiene products. Because of this, and because many people donating to food banks don't think to bring non food items to a food bank, there is a major need for non-food items at these organizations. Your purchases are impacting people here in the US who are in real need of personal care items with few places to go to get them!
