As the world combats COVID-19, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) emphasize handwashing as our strongest line of defense against infection. Unfortunately, access to hand soap remains alarmingly limited for vulnerable populations. This includes low-income families, the homeless, incarcerated people, refugees, and others.
We have ramped up relief efforts to donate soap bars immensely to refugee camps, prisons, food pantries, shelters, schools, and natural disaster relief efforts.
Our partners include long-time recipients as well as new non-profits and NGOs. Our primary soap distributors continue to be Ecosoap Bank and Clean the World Foundation, two organizations that primarily produce recycled soap. Our benificiaries include highly local groups like church pantries and grassroots homeless advocacy organizations. They also include major international and national non-profits like World Vision, Feed the Children, Feeding America, and more.
