Over the course of 2022, Soapbox is donating $40,000 to Surge for Water to help with several projects around hygiene and safe sanitation solutions. Surge will hire 2 Hygiene Ambassadors to deliver hygiene training to a minimum of 1500 people. These Ambassadors will also aid with soap-making classes, soap distribution and training 500 soap-making entrepreneurs to help launch 20 soap-making businesses.

Surge for Water invests in communities with safe water, sanitation and hygiene solutions to help end the cycle of poverty. This is done by creating water access with well and rain water tank construction and well & spring rehabilitation, purifying water for households and community filters, and household sanitation and hygeine. As a team, Surge continues to be driven by the severity of the water and sanitation crisis and the struggles people face to access this basic necessity. Together, they are making a life changing difference for hundreds of thousands of people — changing the world, one drop at a time.
